Youth Performing Company

Empowering young dance artists to find and develop their creative voices.

The Youth Performing Company is an opportunity available to young dancers ages 11-18 who are committed to deepening their training practice and engaging in additional performance opportunities. Participation in the Youth Performing Company includes the following:

• Mandatory contemporary technique class (Wednesdays, 4:15-6:30 pm)

• 2 additional weekly technique classes (choose from available adult/teen class options)

• Extra Saturday afternoon rehearsals as needed (schedule TBA, rehearsals will start in October)

• Fall/spring recitals + special YPC choreography showing

• Volunteer outreach performances for the residents at Warm Hearth Village and other community venues

• Opportunities to mentor and educate younger dancers through planning and implementing our first annual Love Your Body Week!

• Eligibility for membership in the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA).
